Scooter Seat Covers
Hi I am new to this website so please be patient with me. I made a seat cover for my niece. She loves it. It is for a genuine buddy 50. She says there are lots of scooter owners that would love a seat cover for their scooter. Is there a need for this. I am considering setting up a website?
Thank you,
krafty

No, many people take the covers off and stuff them under the seat when they are not riding.michelle_7728 wrote:Definitely--must be waterproof, though!
But yes, there is definitely a market for this. Just visit http://scooterseatcovers.com/

Waterproof is to keep the seat dry when you're not riding!sunshinen wrote:No, many people take the covers off and stuff them under the seat when they are not riding.michelle_7728 wrote:Definitely--must be waterproof, though!

Unfortunately scooterseatcovers.com is no longer producing covers. There's definitely a market for these for many different scooter models. If you can make them well, you'll have trouble keeping up with demand.

Yeah, clearly there would also be a demand for waterproof ones, but I was just pointing out that a lack of waterproofing is not a dealbreaker for many people. And though Crystal's shop is closed, her "sorry" note on the site clearly shows the demand for (fleece and other) seat covers.ericalm wrote:Waterproof is to keep the seat dry when you're not riding!sunshinen wrote:No, many people take the covers off and stuff them under the seat when they are not riding.michelle_7728 wrote:Definitely--must be waterproof, though!

Waterproof/semi-permanent for me....I'm WAY too lazy to have to remove a seat cover....it either wouldn't get used, or it would get stolen when I left it on...
