Accessories for a 125 Buddy? What's a good website/
I just bought a Buddy and I can't find a website that has accessories like a coffee holder. Can you get speakers on these guys? That would be awesome!!!

Accessories for a 125 Buddy. What's a good website?
Welcome to Modern Buddy!
I hope you enjoy your scooter, but one thing to think about when you're talking about speakers...you're not in a car where your attention can drift. When you're on a scooter, you have to be more diligent than even when on a motorcycle because you are smaller than everyone. Your attention needs to be strictly focused on your riding. 'Nuff said. Here are a couple of websites I have found:

http://www.scooterwest.com/items/?_page ... 25-150/203
http://www.justgottascoot.com/StuffToBuy.htm
http://www.twistedthrottle.com/ Not scooter specific, but some good stuff there. (They are where I just ordered my top case from)

Ride safe!

I have to say that although when people drive thier attention definitely drifts, this is why its less than safe on the road for us. I would hope that anyone on the road is paying attention all the time so that they don't squish us like bugs.michelle_7728 wrote:Welcome to Modern Buddy!

They're paid. Mostly. Sort of.Cheshire wrote:Don't forget to look at the ad banners at the top and bottom of the page here. They aren't random ads, if I remember correctly (eric?) they're paid slots. Even if they're not, they're very scooter-specific.

Speaking of which, check out the Gen-U-Bin!

Very good point. When we are in cars we SHOULDN'T let our attention drift, but I think most of us do, even when we're not listening on the radio or talking to a passenger. However, when we take the motorcycle safety course (and hopefully most of us do...), it is emphasized that you can't be thinking about that cup of coffee, or a meeting later that day--you have to be focusing on the ride. That's really all I meant.jasondavis48108 wrote:I have to say that although when people drive thier attention definitely drifts, this is why its less than safe on the road for us. I've used the corrazo coffee jacket with my buddy. Each time, the lid falls off whenever I hit a crater, I mean, pothole. I believe it is because the coffee holder hits right at the pocket whereas it has swing room on a vespa.Perkussion wrote:www.scootmoto.com has coffee holders.
I also used it with a plastic bottle, but it slid through while going through some twisties. Luckily, the bottle stayed vertical at my feet or it would have been a bad scene of bowling for scooters.

Oh, i didn't figure you meant any harm by your comment, just figured I'd point out that all the good stuff we learn in our msf course about staying focused applies to whatever we're riding/driving. I found that I actually became a better car driver after I took the course. I kind of wish that folks had to re-certify thier drivers lisence every so often just so they wouldn't become so complacent with thier driving ability. I think they forget that thier car is quite capable of killing someone if they arn't constantly aware of what they are doing behind the wheel. It would also be a good time to remind drivers that motorcycles, scooters, mopeds and bicycles also have a legal right to be in the road without getting run over.michelle_7728 wrote:Very good point. you're not in a car where your attention can drift....and the "hopefully most of us do" comment was NOT being directed at you, just a nod to the fact that some of us don't take that valuable course!
