Excel multi-vehicle service record template

Before I go reinventing the horse, does anyone have an Excel Template for a multi-vehicle service record?

Not so much a Service Record, but a fuel log spreadsheet. Is that sufficient?

Nah. thanks though. Someone else might be interested in it... Hrmm. That could be soemthing handy to have in the FAQ section... an easy way to track maintenance and a pre-made fuel tracking chart.

I'm trying to simplify my household records. I'd like to put them all in on file so I can see which ones are due for what. I'll whip something together, I just figured if there was one out there already, I'd save myself the trouble.

I haven't bothered to tune the mpg column formulas to nicely handle the case of zero values in the gal or $/gal cells. But it still works well enough for entering short descriptions for service along with the fillups. I made it on Spread32, in my opinion the best Excel replacement there is. One file, no installation, only one registry key created (in HKCU, a big plus), and an old version - 1.18 - is still available in the intertubes.

Fuelly.com will keep track of your MPG info for you online for free. You can input your info online from your cell phone (if you have web access on it). It will also let you import old data and export whatever it has to/from a .csv file, which should work on your spreadsheet program. It works great for me, since I do 50+ miles per day to/from work in my Jeep.

I agree, Fuelly is a pretty slick site, but this statement in the Terms of Service:

makes me uneasy. But I lean to the paranoid.

yet we really need this too with 3 permanent buddy scooters and about 16 bikes in our "stable"!
