new rider! just bought my buddy international on saturday....great fun. had to recharge the battery sunday........this morning, i can kick start it but the button start does not work........any help?

Are you holding in one of the brake levers? You have to.

I just bought a buddy international in St. Louis too. Did you get it from Maplewood Scooters?

I'm bringing my home later this week. I have to get my permit and scooter insurance straightened out first 8)

Are you properly turning off the scooter and removing the key so there is no continued power drain? If not you might be inadvertently draining your battery. Or perhaps you have an old battery that won't hold charge any more...
