I'm not sure about the one that you bought, but my RRGS "V8" style pipe from SWG is optimized for a 123 BBK. The stinger ID on mine is 19mm, which is too big for a stock bore, OEM carb, 106 motor.

I modified a B&S small engine muffler to serve as a supplemental silencer & mounted it on the end of the stinger, & connected it with a short 22mm>19mm silicone reducer hose intended for a turbo application. That got me the torque I was looking for without giving up anything on top.
The supplemental silencer inlet is approx. 17.5mm tapered down to approx. 15.6mm. The "silencer" also took a little bit of "bark" out of the pipe.

The top-end RPM is limited by the dinky OEM carb. I'm personally not sure what the upper RPM limit is, maybe Vespatech & MR can tell us!

All that said, my RRGS likes high RPM.

Not exactly sure; my best guess on mine is about the 7 - 8k range. Maybe Tumon-Ninja can chime in.

i would guess a safe limit on stk motor is 9500 maybe 10,000 rpm I know i have had it revved out pretty far for extended periods to what sounds like 10
The powerband will be around 8-9 with that long of a stroke

Waiting to get one of these, It is the stock style readout but that useless button on ours changes to temp rpm and fuel level. comes with everything to install and at under a 100.00.

I am interested to see how those brackets work. I have seen them a few times. Scootercraft also had a subframe on there site. No extension, just able to run a straight intake.

He was banned from MB quite some time ago. Not sure that he still monitors this forum anymore. Did you get some parts from him?

My Tinytach is annoyingly laggy, but other than that works well. It sure made dialing in the pilot air screw easier!

SBL commissioned the RRGS V8 style knockoff.

Mine is generally in the high 6's - low 8's range WOT depending upon conditions.

My clutch is locked up by 4k (my preference), with the lightest clutch springs & no pillow springs.

OK to burst it there, however I don't recommend running extended WOT at that level.
