My new Blur...

Post by Mikie M. »

I brought my new Blur SS220i home a couple of hours ago. It's a white one that now has a total of 16 miles on it.
It starts and runs great and will only get better as I put more time on the motor. The breaks are incredible and the suspension is firm but nimble. As other have said, it does feel as if it's running on a rail.
I can only think of two things that I may give attention to and that is the seat padding, and re-painting the rear grab handle silver or black.
This scooter will rival any European make in today's market, especially when considering the price.

Congrats! A 50 to a 220i is a nice step up in size!

The more I hear, the more I want to ride one. Maybe I need to plan another trip out of state. :)

Just put another 40 some miles on the SS. Sound as a dollar. No, wait a minute, poor comparison these days. How about this. Solid as a rock.
Brakes, fantastic. Motor breaking, fantastic. Cornering, fantastic. Excelleration, fantastic. Seat, not so fantastic, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. It's a scooter seat, after all.
This thing is a true sports scooter in every sense of the word. There were times today that I thought I was on a naked street bike, but when I woke up I was on a scooter.

Congrats Mikie,
I just got mine on the 28th, I keep trying to find reasons to leave the house. I put 75mi on mine so far I am still breaking it in, so I hope the fuel eff. gets a bit better.

Anyway I am really liking this scoot. I can't compare to others because I have never ridden another one, but I can't imagine a cooler ride. SO much fun. Pulling out from red lights… Sweet. I can say the breaks are unreal. That thing will stop with almost no effort.
