Due to an unexpected job opportunity that I have been waiting on for a long time(but did not expect it to happen this soon), I may be relocating across the country and will definitely not have the opportunity to ride for quite a while. If this happens I will be relocating in about 1-2 months so I wanted to gauge interest for my bike in case I have to sell it:(
It is the new 2011 Genuine Blur 220i with a California Title in Hand. Yes, it is registered and titled in California! I just had the 1st service completed (which included valve adjustment) and was broken in according to the recommended procedure in the owners manual. It is obviously still under warranty since it was just purchased in mid August. I have done mostly cosmetic mods to the bike, and also installed a stereo, SPY 5000m 2-way pager remote with remote engine start, 10,000k hid headlight, rear camera with 7" removable monitor, and a bunch of other stuff that you can read about in my other posts. I have spoken to Genuine in Chicago directly and the mods do not void the Genuine Warranty. The bike is better than new and hopefully I will not have to part with it, but in case I do I just wanted to gauge interest:) I would be pretty confident to say that it is probably the nicest 220i in the country right now since I dropped around $1k into it already in extras & mods.
Unexpected event...my 2011 Blur 220i might soon be for sale!

Wow, really? Just rent a slightly larger truck and take it with you!
If you're intent on selling it, there are a few California hopefuls who are waiting patiently for them to hit the stores there... maybe they'd be interested?
Sadly, Genuine doesn't transfer warranties... I think they might be one of the very few companies that won't nowadays.

Guess they don't have very much confidence in their product...
davelhunter: Sorry that you may have to sell your 220i. I suppose I'd be a candidate to buy it should you need to sell, but I'm right in the middle of trying to get my '06 Blur running again and can't afford the expense. Either way, the very best of luck on your new job.
