Calendar featuring Modern Buddy scoots?

Has anyone thought about doing a calendar featuring some of the great photos that we have posted up on MB? (or new pics from MB members)

on sites like zazzle (& several others) you can make a calendar & then other people can buy it directly from the website (so no one needs to invest in "inventory & fulfillment" )

I would buy a calendar featuring the great scooters from Genuine / MB

I dont think you would want to use a pic without permission of the person, so I am not suggesting just grabbing pics from the Gallery - but rather people could post a link to their pics in a thread (like this one)
Of course we could set a deadline in April-ish so everyone would have the chance to go take a cool pic of their scooter for submission.
I am thinking a couple pics of each model scoot from Genuine - & make sure we try to include at least one of each model.

If we had more than 12 submissions, we could let people vote.

Anyone think this would be a fun idea?

I've done a calendar using pictures I have taken at rallys and other events were scooters were present.

But that was just 1 for personal use at home. I printed it at work and used a hole punch to make holes so I could bind it and hang it.

I think it's a great idea.

I'm working on some other stuff for Zazzle so can handle that part and the production/layout end.

I'll look into their options and specs this weekend then try to figure out the best way to go about submissions and voting. We can do polls, but everyone only gets one option. Jess has a system on ModernVespa (that he coded himself because he's just that slick) that allows people to vote for multiple images (patch submissions) and even change their votes up to the end AND it tallied votes in real time. We may not get that sophisticated, but may work something out, even if it's hosting a 3rd party voting thing on MB. Any suggestions?

Eric - that would be great if you can deal with it on zazzle

I would like to get it going asap but... it would be nice to give everyone until the end of April (or may?) to submit a pic so those of us in the still cold parts of the country can have a chance to take a pic for consideration

Isnt the Buddy 170i's due to arrive in May? If so maybe we could squeeze those in to.Of course I imagine one wouldnt be able to tell any difference visually between the 125 and 170 huh?

You can actually tell the 125 from the 150 just by the exhaust yet with the new 170 coming out they can all be told apart just by their colors alone.

It would be cool to have multiple scoots in a picture some months rather than just 12 individual pics.

May even want to do an 18 month calendar as the year has already started.

we can post them here on MB & let everyone vote on them.

I agree... some months with multi scooter pics would be great - hope someone will submit some.

The 15 month calendars are $7 more.....
Nice thing about Zazzle is that you can start at whatever month you want.
so I would say we could go July 2011 - June 2012

Then we cold have the 2012 calendar out for July 2012!
