Adjustor Nut not getting tight

Post by toddm1234 »

Ok, so I was trying to adjust my clutch cable, and was adjusting the clutch via the clutch adjustor and when I go to tighten it up after I was done, it doesn't seem to get very tight. Any ideas?

Thanks

Just to add- this is the two part adjustment for the clutch- there is a small nut, towards the left, nad the adjustment nut on the right. You loosen the left one, then adjust the right one- then tighten up the left one. Basically its where B is on this image. disregard the other parts of this image-- i took it from the internet... Thanks!

Get yourself a fourth hand tool, trust me. I have used them since my cycling days and wouldn't try to adjust cables without one. It makes it that much easier.
