Very nice...congratulations! Intrigued by the upcoming custom backrest/wheel cover...

Looks like a Nolan N30 helmet? I have one also that I refinished in chalkboard paint for rapid and frequent design changes (when it isn't raining.) I'll have my scooter this weekend for sure...I've been waiting for sidecar arrival and setup

He does wheel covers like this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Oxblood-White-C ... 27bd9a6411

I asked him to make one for me in a tan and creme check, I post as soon as I get it.

And yes the helmet is a N30, but I had to rub the inside foam with a hand weight to compress it a bit because it didn't fit my head very well at first. That's what I get fror buying online without trying it on beforehand.

Man, I can't wait to see your 4T with that sidecar, now that sounds really nice.

Very, very nice! I, too, look forward to seeing the wheel cover.

Are you using LEDs for the light upgrades? My next upgrade is definitely to the turn signals (my only "close calls" seem to happen with turning, and I think it's because of the dim signals, especially the rear signals).

Listless--have fun with the sidecar! My boyfriend is terrified to ride a scooter, and he initially said he would only ride in a sidecar. I insisted it wouldn't be as fun because the scooter wouldn't have as much power, and now he's slowly warming up to the idea of riding on the back (or getting his own Buddy). I emphasize *slowly.* [Crossing fingers]

Thanks monkeykat, I told the guy in England that I'd pass his name and e-mail along if I like the wheel cover, he seems to be a pretty nice guy.

I jumped on board with the LEDs that were being discussed on another thread. I also realized that most drivers don't notice us when making that dreaded left turn so the bright lights can't hurt. I also did the bright brake light and running light.

FYI: When I take delivery my blue 4T with sidecar should look exactly like this one (that I look at almost daily)...

viewtopic.php?t=18096&highlight=

I'll have to wait to post any pictures until I've made it mine a bit. After installing the (already purchased) front and rear racks, spotlight, cowl protectors and some stickers I have to figure out the upholstery mismatch issues (blue seat vs. black backrest & sidecar seat/armrests). It would be easiest to just buy a black seat but I haven't seen any 4T seats available anywhere...

What would be nice is to send all the items to Pirateupholstery.com and let them hook up the whole thing.

Now that I see how nice it is I wish I had asked for a checkered backrest also.

Nice! Need a new round of pics!

I'll be adding some leather grips when I get my Stella back from paint & body.

I was thinking about leather grips too but couldn't find any; where did you get yours from? Why is your bike at the paint and body place?

Just added a few new pics up top. All she needs are her legshields. And she finally has a name, Ella, after Ella Fitzgerald. I call her Ella the Stella.

I just got a new horn but don't know how to install it. i also got the heavy duty center stand. I had to have a checkered back rest to switch out; that should be here from across the pond shortly.

The guy who made my wheel cover can be found on Facebook under L&N Products and his name is Lee. He does some really nice work like this:

Tell him Allen from Atlanta sent you if you contact him; he's a pretty cool guy.
