funny you say that, b/c mine has an interesting story about it that the guy told me tonite when i went to pick it up. apparently the dealer he bought it from took off the glove box from my scooter to put in another scooter. genuine then sent him another glove box. on the inside of the glove box it says 2009 yet it is a 2008! and genuine knew about it when the guy who sold me the scooter called them up. so i can pretend like i have an 09 lol

btw, how do you like yours?! took it for a spin when i got home...so much fun! fast too! only 473 miles so still got some breaking in to do. cant wait to drive it to work tomorrow and have everyone talking about it! =)

good nite...gotta get some sleep.

Just take your time on the break in, and if you stay up on the little adjustments and maintenance they are fine.

I enjoy the vintage feel. Mine is apart right now, getting its paint job for winter...something fun.

Add a good aftermarket pipe and do a little carb work and it will reward you! They are really corked up from the factory.

so frustrated right now lol since I picked up my stella Thurs nite, it has been raining non stop in FL! All my stella is doing is looking pretty in the garage....
Just looked at the radar and we might get a break from the rain for a couple of hours but not sure because the rain keeps popping back up. I cant believe how much I just want to get on it and ride! LOLNeed to practice too cuz I drive through some traffic on the way to work and want to be able to react quickly. that's my rant for the day lol

just got Hobbes up to 62 on the speedo tonite! woohoo! that was fuuunnn!!!! granted, dont know how accurate it is, but who cares! i was going fast! it rides great too! felt some squirrely-ness before, but i just press down on the handles and it settles it down nicely. feels very good in curves too, not light, but very grounded. and I LOVE PASSING PEOPLE! lol great feeling after riding on a 50cc scoot lol

thanks! glad to hear it. it's a little bit of a pain when setting up on its stand, but i might be biased b/c i used to use a side stand on my 50cc so i got a little lazy lol trick for me is to keep the clutch in so that it doesnt accidentally slip into gear and prevent me from rolling the bike up on the stand. same with dismounting too. good luck in your quest! i have to say any genuine scooter would be a good choice. really impressed with the company!

Looks great. I really like that rack. It looks to be exceptionally stiff for a luggage rack.

I see it's still wet down there. I have an aunt and uncle who live near Daytona and they had to drive back from up here yesterday. Bet they were in rain the whole way.

Enjoy your scoot!

dont know yet...still getting to know him, and he getting to know me lol

i havent even washed it yet...might do it tomorrow...could use a good cleaning and waxing. might even do the 500 mile tune up of gear oil change and tightening the cylinder head. also check the tire pressure and oil levels too. i'll come up with something lol this is what my old scooter looked like:

it was originally blue and creme lol
