SO not MBR related: Travelogue

Somebody passed this along in another forum. The photos are great. Even better if you're a fan of old British iron.

There is a slight scooter tie-in. Look for the color picture of his dad with his "something lighter" at then end. Maybe some of you can identfy it for me.

I also was glad that the epilogue showed the Brough is still extant and running strong. I like things that endure.

Not sure about the new scoot, but in the Kitzbuhel pictures there is a (now) vintage scoot, near the guy looking suspiciously at the policeman on the bike.

Darn. I just went back through the pics again and forgot to look for the old scoot. His dad's scoot appears to be a Pugeot. At least, it has a rampant lion symbol. I don't think we get any Pugeot scoots in the U.S., do we?

The scooter is a Peugeot Speedfight 100. Also, twenty-five years ago, I rode a BMW motorcycle over the pass he shows in the modern photos at the bottom. That's Furka Pass in the Swiss Alps. Nice ride. The winds up there are a little treacherous, but the biggest danger is the dreaded alpine tour bus. You didn't want to meet one of those in the middle of an alpine switchback. EDIT: Looking back through the vintage pictures there's one with a caption about the road being blocked because two of the dreaded alpine tour buses got stuck together in passing.

I enjoyed that so much that had to go through it again. This time I found another reference to scooters. It's about a third of the way down the page while they were in Austria. I've attached a snip below. Can somebody identify that scooter? Could it be the Genuine Time-Traveling Cruiser?

P.S. Also, see that crazy police bike on the left coming straight at the camera? Is that a Moto Guzzi Falcone?
