Post by rkcoker »

I've searched and searched and searched and searched and....not really that hard but how do you get that 'Fuelly' info to show up in your signature block? :nerd: :nerd:

Go to the Fuelly page for the vehicle you want to get a signature image for. In the address bar, add "/sig" (no quotes) to the end of the web address to be taken to a page where you'll be given the code for your signature image.

So if the page for your vehicle is something like:

http://www.fuelly.com/driver/username/buddy-150/

Change it to

http://www.fuelly.com/driver/username/buddy-150/sig

And on that page you'll find the codes to add to your signature. There are two images (big and small) and codes for both (you'll want the one labeled BBcode). Copy and paste it into your signature on MB and you'll be all set.

Just checking to see if I figure out how to post my fuely badge.

Cool it worked, probably not like everyone else does it, but I clicked on the gold shield on fuelly and then copied my banner as a picture then uploaded it as a picture.

(the following edited by me)
Q: How do I use a Fuelly forum signature/badge?

A:

1. On the vehicle detail page, click the yellow badge icon under Recent Fuel-Ups.
2. On the "Fuelly Signature" page, choose the image you want.
3. Copy either the HTML or BBCode for your image.
4. Go to your forum and paste the code into the form for updating your signature.

5. (On ModernBuddy, login and click 'profile' at the top of the page. Within your profile settings, enter the code under 'signature.'

If you want to take a guess at doing it manually, mine is:

It may drive you crazy; one week you've got great MPG, the next it drops and you start wondering what happened!

But it is great in that you've got that number ready to go when someone asks what kind of mileage you get...

What about those little maps of the US and/or state maps that show where you've scooted? Is that from a website? And if it is, can someone please post the link?

I made my own, starting from a free map of Michigan I found online. I don't know of any service that generates them for you.
