Hello buddy buddies :D

Post by Marly1312 »

Hello :) I just bought a 2009 150cc international, st. tropez, takes a couple of weeks to get it finished and delivered, since I want some parts already on there :) cant wait to ride it, Ive had a 1987 50cc scooter before but that was just lame, sold it 2 years ago and now I just miss riding !
Sooo my question to YOU is, did anybody ever change the panels to a different color? I dont like that dark gray-blue, rather have that bright blue :) so i thought i might mix them up, if i can

HI, Marly! Hope you don't mind—I split your post into its own topic. It'll get more response this way.

The answer is yes: Many people have done panel swaps and they're also easy to paint!

I bought a Pamplona last year and swapped all the glossy panels for BlackJack panels. Had my dealer put them on while I was recovering from an accident. People swap panels all the time.

Panel parts

ah ok, thank you, can you tell me where to get the parts for a good price? I did some research and come to about $400, is that good? Because I have nothing to compare. Thanks :)

I actually just went to Scooterworks and picked them up while in Chicago. I gave my old panels to my shop so you could check around at shops to see if anyone has some hanging around.

Most shops probably order the spare body panels from Genuine.

Try calling Scooterworks at 1-888-968-3772 and tell them which panels you'd like.
