new buddy rider
So I picked up a used buddy 125.Its a 2010 with only 245 miles on it for 1850. dollars.So I still have to break it in.and I wont have a warranty.When should I get it serviced and how much will this cost from the dealer.

Here is a dealer list. A few shops are down your way. Most Genuine shops are reputable, but we have some members from your neck of the woods who can no doubt vouch for a few. So far as I can tell the first service charge varies dealer to dealer. But somewhere between $100-$150 seems to be the norm. I paid $95.

So far as servicing the FIRST service is supposed to be done at 500m. Or 400-600m. I tend to a Buddy and it was done after 22 months and 800m and is great. However i think you can take yours in sooner then later. 400 -500 miles sounds as good as anything. After that just change the oil and ride. And changing the oil is easy on these scooters. Even I can do it.
No warranty, no worries. Should be a good scooter.
