Michelin S1 or Vee Rubber Sport Tire?
I know this subject has been done before, but with different tires. My question is which is the better tire? Anyone running the Vee Sport tire? It looks like it would do well in the rain. Any feedback would be appriciated

I've had both and I'd say they are pretty similar. Anecdotally, I think the S1 was a bit more sticky, and I can't imagine a tire doing much better in the rain than the S1. I got about 3500 miles out of each tire (rear).
The Vee is a 100/90 10 tire whereas my S1 is a 3.5x10 so the Vee is a bit fatter.
Not a ton of difference in my opinion but I'd give an overall slight edge to the S1.
However, one thing I just noticed is that the Vee is L rated (75 mph) and the S1 is only J rated (62 mph). If you ride WOT a lot that is definitely something to consider.

Thank you for the feedback.
. I went with the S1's, I figured the only way I going to go faster than 62 mph is with a big wind at my back teehee
. I ordered them from bikebandit. they should get here by Fri., the sooner the better cuz I have 4500 mi. on the Prima stock whitewalls and basically it is a slick atm
.
