NSR: Does anyone on this site play an ocarina?

Post by Drum Pro »

Yes I know Zelda was a dope @ss game but I recently came across an actual player of a sweet potato soprano ocarina and that dude was getting down on it. He was playing it almost like a penny whistle but with a different sound. I wanna get one now... (How nerdy is that)?

Ocarinas are pretty cool sounding, if made well. I don't have one myself, but I have a zampoña, which is a Chilean panpipe, which also sounds pretty cool. You can make some quick and easy pentatonic pipes from PVC, too.
