So...
Good:
Gas mileage~~check
Speed~~~check
Looks fairly cool~~~check(ish)
You can crank up your torpedo tunes~~~check
If you light up a bong, everyone on board has fun~~~check
Bad:
Costs too much, cages people who don't want to be caged, takes half of the fun out of riding on 2 wheels with the gyros, selling to a market that doesn't exist (so far).
It's like a solar powered Cartier tennis racket, nobody is asking for it except people who want toys who don't really need them and won't use it unless going to a awards banquet to show off.

We need projects like this to push the technology and public conceptions about transportation further.
I love riding scooters/bikes. But would also love to see different forms of more practical and less wasteful transportation not just for me, but for other commuters. Scootering, as it is, just isn't right for everyone.
Until this hits production, I'll consider it a curiosity.
Meanwhile, been waiting YEARS for this. More than three years of redesigns, scaling down and recession-fueled delays. Sigh.
I read/hear a lot about the sanctimony of Prius drivers but haven't really seen it around here. This is probably because most owners in LA just bought them as status symbols and out of trendiness rather than the type of genuine concern for the environment behind the condescending attitudes others experience. (Kidding! Sort of! About 30% maybe!)

It ain't the car, it's the drivers!Mutt the Hoople wrote:Ain't autocorrect the damnedest ... PRIUS.
