All important jacket-matching-the-scooter question
I am thinking about getting the Corazzo 5.0 jacket in olive/white. Anybody know if the color is close to Italia color? On this issue hangs the future of mankind. So I thank you. - LC

I can vouch for the 5.0. I have done 10+ miles rides when the temperature was below 30, with pretty strong winds. I was wearing nothing but a T-shirt and the 5.0. It was the warmest part of my body at the end of the ride. The only trouble is the space between the jacket collar and my helmet was frozen - so I think I need a scarf. The warmth of your gloves and boots are going to decide how far you can ride, since the 5.0 isn't even a factor - but frozen fingers and toes really hurt!

The Max is really made to be breathable. I have ridden in 50 degree or so and it's been great with a couple layers under (t-shirt and a light sweater or track jacket). The 5.0 is much better suited to even colder climates, though.
The best jacket I own for the cold, wind and rain is an older version of a Belstaff Tour Master. Unfortunately, they don't make these anymore; mine looks similar to the image below but has reflective piping up the sleeves and across the chest. An Italian company makes most of the new Belstaffs, which are very fashion-oriented (not intended as protective gear) and ridiculously expensive. A US company licensed the name to continue making the designs they carried, but the Trial Master in the image below still tuns at almost $500. I got mine on eBay a few years ago. They're now collectible and go for around $300 for used ones. Anything is collectible on eBay!
