Tried to pick up my Buddy.

Post by InBloom71 »

I tried to pick up my Buddy a week early last night. I just can't wait any longer. Waiting the first week was hard while I was waiting for my white seat and handlegrips to come in. I was willing last night to go ahead an pick up my Buddy in stock form and just have the other parts put on when they come in. I even left work early and got it insured Thursday night on my way home from work. The dealership did not have my Buddy there so I could not get it. I don't know where they took it but Oh well. The weather is horrible today so I probably would not be riding it anyway. But at least I could sit on it and talk to it and pet it and read his owners manual.
I hope to join you guys and gals very soon in scooterhood.

Are we to understand, then, that the dealership didn't know where your bought-and-paid-for bike was? That's a little disconcerting. More than a little, actually.

What color did you get?

White grips...is it Pink?

If so, could be hard to come by if Genuine is not making it anymore.
It was a big seller in some states and not in others.

Waiting for my Buddy.

Post by InBloom71 »

The Buddy I reserved is the red one. I am actually copying one from a picture on a scooter dealers website. A girl had a red Buddy with whitewall tires and a white seat and handle grips. It looked really sharp. I just hope nothing bad has happened to my Buddy.

ITS IN!!

Post by InBloom71 »

I may have just been paranoid! I just got off the phone with the shop and they will have my Buddy ready this afternoon! I can't wait. I am a 36 year old child having a happy fit right now. My coworkers are going to be annoyed with me shortly.

Congratulations! I like how your scooter matches your punching bag.

Punching bag matching

Post by InBloom71 »

That was a coincidence. I thought about holding my calico cat but I did not want her to steal any of my Buddy's thunder. Now my yellow garage door is way out of the color scheme.

Not to threadjack, but...

Calico cats are the best cats! I have a tortie named Rudie.

looks fine....

the garage door looks fine yellow, it brings out the color of the front disc brake on the front wheel of the scoot....

Calico and my Buddy

Post by InBloom71 »

That is a beautiful cat polianarchy. My Calico is crazy. She will bite you then lick you then bite and lick and all you are doing is trying to pet her. She immediatley looked over my new Buddy and then later I found her sitting on the floorboard.

Atomic Brown

Yes I got it at Atomic Brown Scooter Shop. They are very nice people. I am a fan of the bar just down the street called VZD's. You might see my scooter parked there some evenings when Spring comes around.

Out of state?

Maybe you won't see me at VZD's JR. I just noticed you are not in Oklahoma. How do you know Atomic Brown Scooter Shop?

I <3 the Atomic Brown Scooter Shop. They treated us like royalty when we stopped there on the Cannonball in 2004, just really nice folks. I don't recall seeing VZD's. I do remember washing every article of clothing I had at that laundromat one block from there. That's me in my clean clothes and yellow/blk jacket.
