I love the orange buddy, but would like it more if the bottom of the instrument cluster wasn't black. I know its a different shade but has anyone replaced the black bottom with the sunset bottom? any pics? How hard is it to paint?

Funny, I have a sunset that I painted black... all except for the part under the cluster. It seems like a PITA to take off.

Thanks,
Here is what it looked like before. Besides the paint I also added some black Blur grips, new seat and have since changed the mirrors on it.
Next up a new horn, maybe running lights. My wife is the primary rider but it gives me something to play with!

Is it a different shade of orange now?, or is it just the lighting?

Nope, its the same shade, just polished up and it stands out more with the black trim vs the brown/orange.

Different colors, one is Sunset (old/bright orange) & the new ones are Tangerine (not as orange)

This is the way the come now... just a different color. Here is my 2012, I got last week, Tangerine. I do like the older color better. However, I LOVE my Buddy!!!

I prefer the new orange. I just wish the plastic under the head set was orange too. I wonder if it would look goofy with one of the old orange plastics instead of the black?
