Sorry- no other photos in this post- but click the links below for a TON of awesome photos of this "finally feasable" Scooter 1-wheel Trailer!
Check out this article on them:
http://www.royalenfields.com/2009/03/su ... of_06.html
* The artyicle has photos proving the little trailer holds "nearly two cubic feet of stuff".
* There is also a video of the single-wheeled trailer in use, thought just in a straight line.
* There is also a video of another style of trailer showing that bike and trailer going all curvy and the trailer not falling over. (support for the one wheel trailer.)
* And my favorite part of the article, I will just post right here:
www.royalenfields.com wrote: Here's some background on Inder, provided by [Kevin Mahoney, Classic Motorworks president]:
"They are in the Punjab region of India (north). They were large LML dealers, which is the company in India that makes the Stella (a license-built Vespa scooter). Because of that they were very familiar with the Stella colors.
here are some places I found to buy it:
http://www.cyclesidecar.com/showroom/inder_trailer.html
* this shop mentions:
Plus! Ask about matched colors for Vespa scooters (limited availability).
http://nfieldgear.com/enfield-store/aft ... black.html
* This shop mentions:
These are only available in black from our online store at this time. However, limited "Stella" colors may also be available... just call us toll-free 1-800-358-0938 or contact your local Royal Enfield dealer
* and their price was very enticing.
- I called the 2nd Shop's 800# and left a message late yesterday, still waiting for a call back. Plus I emailed "my local Royal Enfield dealer" (same as my Genuine dealer) and I am eagerly awaiting to hear from them too.
Personally I was never certain of a side car because of the huge weight and loss of power. Plus My wife already has her own buddy. A Scooter Trailer is Just was I am looking for, for the longer trips and even for, I dunno Shopping- whatever. I really hope this does not become a Fluke or something.
p.s. If everybody goes into a mad rush to buy these- please leave me a red one.
