I compulsively check the time, and the lack of clock instrumentation on the Buddy's dash drives me nuts! So I've been scoping out reasonable solutions to this quandry. I've found digital moto gizmos to be overwhelmingly fuuuugly, and I've decided I'll likely purchase a handsome-looking leather double wrap watch and just slap it around the right handlebar.
How about ya'll? Has anyone else added a timepiece, compass, sextant, or gizmo to the dash in order to augment the Buddy's complete lack of technological savvy?

We purchased some cheapo little digital clock and compass combo and used double sided tape to attach it to the scoot. It serves the purpose very well. I think it was an Amazon purchase for under $10.

I bought a cheapo little dashboard clock at the hardware store (essentially a the guts of a 1980s digital watch with tape on the back of it) and it served me well until the bike got rained on really hard.
I have since learned to pay less attention to the time. As of last year I don't even wear a watch anymore (after four decades in which my left wrist became deathly pale from never going without).
I bought the cheapest water-resistant watch I could find. I think it was 10 bucks. The straps were too short to reach around all the plastic on the handlebars, so I cut off the straps and Krazy glued the watch to my windshield. Not pretty - but effective.
Any clock must be better than the built in clock on the Kymco Agility. The damn thing won't keep time to save it's life and is always 20-35 minutes behind! Both myself and the dealer have checked every connection and lead and still don't have an idea. But, it's not worth getting the thing torn apart just to replace a $1.50 part
I use a Formotion Spot Clock by the ignition key at the 11o'clock postion. Easy to install, read and waterproof. Plus it looks like it was a factory option. Sorry no pics, Im not camera friendly.
same as above. Motorcycle clocks are ridiculously expensive. I went to WallyWorld and found a black analog watch on sale for $9. I made sure it was waterproof so I don't have to take it off in rain. I also made sure it had some sort of glow-in-the-dark feature so I can *maybe* see it in the dark.
I took off the band, attached velcro to the scooter and the back of the watch in case I want to take it with me somewhere. Also, once the battery dies, I'll probably just buy another watch rather than replace the dead battery. I try not fill the earth unnecessarily but I make exceptions sometimes.

Mortorcycle clocks are expensive for a reason, they have the shock and vibration resistance necessary along with the waterproofing but the el cheapo solutions usually work great. I use a time/temp combo I purchased years ago for another purpose and it does the job.
