Yep, here's the best framegrab I could do. I think it's actually a small motorcycle of the era, but I can't identify it. There's another Monkees video floating around where they are riding Honda Super Cubs, but this isn't it.hal888 wrote:look at :20 of the youtube clip. There's a scooter.

Not a whole lot depending on condition. The plastic legshields are most commonly broken, but there are plenty opt replacements to be found.VinylDoctor wrote:wonder what a whole working cub in mint condition is worth today. I know conplete working minitrails can start at like 500 each.
Interestingly, the Ruckus customizing crowd and moped armies have started embracing the Cub/Supercub/Passport/CT/Trail bikes as their "vintage" options and I've started seeing a lot of customs. They commonly have Chinese GY6 engines (CF Moto, etc) and so0me very cool, tricked out stuff to go with them like the Rucksters.

I happened to catch "Call the Midwife" the other day, and there was a scooter rescue in there.

My Mom watches this and called me to tell me she saw a "scooter like mine" on TV. I wish.Mary Somerville wrote:I happened to catch "Call the Midwife" the other day, and there was a scooter rescue in there.

Late 50s Lambretta LD 125, I think. The exposed control cables and headlight in the leg shield are pretty distinctive.Mary Somerville wrote:I happened to catch "Call the Midwife" the other day, and there was a scooter rescue in there.

At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...
