Corazzo Postale

So I just picked up one of these in beige, so far seems like a good purchase.

Some observations:

- sizing seems to run a bit smaller than the 5.0 jacket. A large on the 5.0 seemed a little big, but I ended up wearing an XL in the Postale.

- beige color is good for warm sunny days

- part of me wishes there was a bit more in the way of venting choices, but that would probably ruin the nice clean look of the jacket.

- with temps in the low 80s in CA (dryish heat), the jacket will be a little on the warm side, even with armpit vents open and a t-shirt underneath. This is especially true if you need to walk the bike around prior to riding off. If you don't get stuck at a lot of traffic lights, it's really not bad though. I wouldn't wear this on a 90+ day, but with the vest you could probably wear this jacket when it's in the 50s.

- front pockets don't have anything to hold them close. Interior pockets are open with a Velcro tab. Interior pockets are not big enough to securely hold a hardshell eyeglass case.

nice jacket.

Mine's black. I got the medium, and it is a bit tight. I call it 'Eurofit'.

very comfortable though, and durable.

I liked the styling except for the waist adjustment buckles on the sides, I would have preferred something a bit more unobtrusive, that was in it's own was not the reason why I didn't purchase one, I couldn't at the time justify the price

I quite like my Corazzo Shop Jacket but the sizing on that is a bit on the large side. I bought it second hand very lightly used for a very discounted price.

I was actually torn between the Postale and the Shop Jacket.

Ultimately, the Postale looks that little bit more like a Harrington (in my opinion), which caused it to win out.

I've owned several Corazzos and the cuts and fits are different for each model. The Postale and the Tempeste both fit me quite well; the Max and 5.0 both a little too boxy. So it's definitely best to try them on.

The Postale has been my everyday near year-round jacket for over a year. When it gets over 85°, I swap to the mesh.

No, it's not the most full featured jacket out there, but there's usually a compromise in features if you care about style (and price).

85 does seem to be about the right breakover point, assuming you're wearing a single layer underneath and short sleeves.

If you have to wear a long sleeved shirt, I'd probably go to mesh a good 5-10 degrees cooler.

I bought the Postale in black. It's a nice looking jacket.

It's definitely euro-fit. Not being euro-sized myself, it didn't really fit unless I took the shoulder pads out, defeating the purpose of an armored jacket.

It's cut above/right at the hips, which I'm not a fan of personally. The Speedway I have is cut to a nice length, the Postale was much shorter.

I did ride it for a day (pads out) and it kept the cold wind out.

I ended up returning it to Corazzo. That should not deter you if you like short-cut, slim-fitting jackets.

I wish Corazzo made a jacket that fit my monkey arms. Everyone I try is inches above my wrist even before putting my arms in riding position.

But I can scratch the back of my knees without bending over.

The Corazzos all have different cuts that will fit different people better. I have owned four of their jackets. The Tempeste fits me best. I have a long torso and am fairly cylindrical in shape.

The Postale fits me well. The Max (discontinued and on clearance) was loose. The Ventata is the slimmest cut by design. I couldn't layer under it, but it's mesh, not meant for that.
