2-Pin .110 Connectors?

Post by Cheers! »

There's a wonderful post about turning your dead lights into running lights. It's easy...and I love the look on my Buddy!

I just bought my DH a scooter and he wants to do the same change to his. I pulled up the tutorial and we were set to go...until I clicked on the link to Eastern Beaver to order the .110 connectors to see that they now have a $20 minimum order and the part is only a few bucks

Anyone have a suggestion on where I could purchase these wonderful little connectors?

Cheers!

5 sets for 5 bucks, free shipping, if you don't mind waiting for them to come in from China:

Here is another place where I ordered the pins and connectors from. I ordered extras.

CALIFORNIA SPORT TOURING
- casporttouring.com
- Hitachi style connectors:
- 17122 2 pin connector set
- 17123 3 pin connector set

Can somebody post a link to the tutorial?

NO! DON'T SEARCH! I will enable your non-searching. I found links to some related threads, but I found mostly deadlight to turn signal threads. Below are pictures of what I did.

Positive from a large orange wire; it might be the starter wire. I used a wire splice. Either connect two wires in the wire splice (one for each deadlight) or use a wire nut to connect the one wire from the photo to two wires (one for each deadlight).

Ground from the horn; I used a ring terminal. You need two ground wires, one for each deadlight.

Each deadlight has a connector. The left side connector is red.
