Was anyone elses mirrors welded to the black bracket part of their scoot? Mine are so it looks like I'm going to have to get new OEM mirrors without that bracket cos I dont like the way the windshield fits....

My mirrors were not welded into the bracket, but they thread directly into the bracket. I don't have any pics to show what I mean (sold the stock mirrors).

Yeah mine seem to be welded either that or they are stuck.

There are nuts underneath the bracket. Did you remove them?

Those are the ones that seem to be welded. Either that or they are seriously stuck. I need to upload a pic so everyone can see what I'm going on about. I don't wanna break the mirror or the stem trying to get the black bracket off...
