Found this on ebay (the scooter republic) and the screws all matched up perfectly. Just had to free up the bundled wires and push it on, its a tighter squeeze than the original. Biggest hassle was waiting on the paint shop!
Looks good! Getting it painted was worth the wait. I prefer those horncasts as well. They're less angular and match the contours of the scooter a bit better. I picked one up a while back and just left it black and 'chromed' the front grill portion (bought from ebay seller 'onsmallwheels'). I have a blue stella and leaving it black actually looks pretty good, along with some black 'racing stripe' decals I put on the fender and the cowls (as well as a black seat cover from CheekySeats).
Yes, it was a tight squeeze, but just required fussing with the wires a bit like you said. Looks like you got yours on there without any gaps. It took me a few tries to get it flush like that.

Haha --- I'm glad you like that. It just looks like it belongs there - for some reason The front Stella badge was gone when I got the scoot.... so I had to fill that void.

And what are the differences over a stock one???
Thanks..
Ebay --- the sellers that I'm aware of that have them are 'scooterrepublic' or 'onsmallwheels'
There really are no differences other than visuals. The wires in the horncast need to be moved around a bit to accommodate it. But it fits fine once you do this. I noticed no difference in top speed or MPG with the new horncast

As a strat man myself, I may be stealing your idea even though my Stella badge is still on my bike!
And, I have been trying to come up with a badge to add in place of the Stella. I have Danelectros, Silvertones and an assortment of Japanese cheapo guitars. This is most scrumptious food for thought.
