Re: blur comfortable
Rider comfort is not one of the Blur 220i's strong points. I'm an even 6', 170 lbs. wet with a 32" inseam and after 3 visits to a local MC seat rework shop, it's finally beginning to feel right. Fortunately, the rework done during the last 2 visits was at no-charge. As far as power is concerned, I have no complaints. My 2011 220i takes off like a scalded cat and tops out at 67 mph GPS indicated very quickly. I don't consider it a touring scooter as I have my '08 Aprilia Sport City 250ie for that purpose so for me, the Blur is my fun scooter. And, it looks good too!ggs34 wrote:can any one tell me how to make the blur more comfortable

Every so often you seem to start a new thread asking essentially the same questions you asked before. Why not just continue those threads? I think you have gotten answers to these questions in the past as well. From my reading of your threads it doesn't seem like the Blur is for you. I would think the SportCity 250 you already have is much better suited to your needs. I suspect you will be disappointed if you buy the Blur. To be honest I am not thrilled with my Blur. It is OK and handles/brakes well but the motor is a letdown. If it had around 20 hp I think it would be about perfect. The new 250cc version they released doesn't look much better than the 220(and it isn't available in the USA anyway).

The problem with the 250 is it will lose the swing arm suspension(as shown in the photo below) which ruins the main draw of the Blur IMHO. I don't think it will be released in the US anyway.ggs34 wrote:http://www.motorcyclephilippines.com/fo ... -Gmax-R250

I don't think the 250 has been available for a few years, and it wasn't around long. It was a whole different engine and I don't think it did well in the asian market.
