Floor Mat not flat...

Post by AScootForMe »

Hi All,

On my Buddy 50, I have noticed that my rubber floor mat does not sit fully flat. It almost seems like the little holes that the floor mat's rubber nobs fit into are just a little "farther" away when it comes to the two nobs on the top front of the mat. As such, when I snap them into place, it seems to pull the mat a little, causing it to front part of the mat too rise up.

Do these mats shrink over time? Could my body panels not be aligned properly causing the nob holes to be too far away? Is it just me......

Thanks

Buy some of that industrial velcro and put it under the mat and velcro it to the floorboard.

That might keep the mat in place.

I'd cut out little inch wide squares and position them on the top corners.

The same thing happened with my roommate's Buddy - he just put a tiny dab of super glue on the top corners of the mat to help it hold them down until the rubber was used to being flat. Worked like a charm!
