How about adding a Hooligan Forum?
I'm thinking of adding a Hooligan to my stable. From what I've read it is a well thought out bike that performs admirably.

On their website they both have a 168.9cc engine. I doubt they are different.brianwheelies wrote:I had read the Hooligan uses the Blur 220 engine with smaller cylinder/head.wheelbender6 wrote:A forum for the Hooligan and Buddy 170i may be warranted, since they share the same drive train.
Buddy is different.

The Hooligan has a 12" rear wheel, which implies that the CVT casing is longer than that of the Buddy. The Hooligan also is fitted a right-side swingarm to mount a second shock and a rear disc brake caliper, a feature not seen on a Buddy . While there might be some shared reciprocating parts in the crankcases of the Buddy 170i and the Hooligan, I can assure you that the engine cases and several other anciliaries are quite different.KrispyKreme wrote:On their website they both have a 168.9cc engine. If scooter taxonomy was a thing, I'd suggest that the Hooligan is most closely related to the Blur family.
At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

I don't care if there is another forum or not...I just want to ride one!

According to Motor Scooter Guide:
"The Hooligan was crafted by Genuine in cahoots with PGO Scooters. Two of PGO’s existing models, the Libra (B1-150) and X-Hot (B2-150) served as the basis for the Hooligan. The Hooligan’s front end is mostly derived from the X-Hot, while the clean rear end is of Libra descent. From there, Genuine took things up a notch by slipping in the larger 170cc fuel injected motor these two companies previously co-developed for the Buddy 170i. Genuine then rounded out the performance with black 5 spoke 12” alloy rims, an upsized front disc and upgraded suspension."
