I haven't been able to get to ModernVespa for a few hours. Do you know what's going on? I'm getting the shakes!

Hey now, John K. has an MS3 250 and it's a surprisingly good machine. He put over 6,000 miles on in his first year of ownership. The engine's a Burgie 250 twin cam and it will haul butt!wheelbender6 wrote:North Koreans. They are sick of Hyosungs.

At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

I hadn't noticed until this thread was posted. Haven't had a lot of bandwidth for scooter-things lately and MB is my preferred forum. I do have an account on MV, though.

He said some uncomplimentary things and got Nerfed for it. If that's all he got, he's doing well.Syd wrote:What the hell, Krispy, did you get hit with a babelhammer?KrispyKreme wrote:D e h a eiees aihiaChlolu nltsoons ehiv hmmtn tliitn nrt baincoo wiae Frd ialeFed hsJlpnss. I noticed it down before 10am ct friday. While i always have both sites open in tabs (not joking, there are tabs for MV and MB on home laptop, work laptop mobile phone and tablet) i'm more active over there. It's a vicious circle i suppose; i'm more active over there because it's a more active site.
Krispy, if folks were truly unfriendly towards you over there, i'm really sorry. I've found MV to be a great group of folks. And i swear anymore half the population doesn't even ride Piaggio products

Anyway, KrispyKreme needed a little time away from the board. It's playoff season, so he has better things to do, anyway. We'll see him in a week or so, I expect.
BabelHammer?!? Thanks, Syd, you made my day.

Yeah it's down. Of course on a weekend that I actually have off and wanted to go to some threads with info on what I wanted to do...oh well.
I'm going to ask for a prorated refund!

The ONLY reason I have one is because the TGB Bellavita isn't sold in the US.wheelbender6 wrote:I like the ride reports on MV. Its a bit like ADVrider for scooters.
I don't see myself ever buying a Vespa.
And because the Kymco Like 200i isn't even CLOSE to a real 200.
I wanted a general form factor (admittedly retro, with cowls) and i had a minimum performance level that i could not compromise. Only the GTS ticked both those boxes. It's a spiffy bike, no question. And I do love it to bits. But no specific marque is the be-all and end-all of motorsports.

He used this:Elder Scoot wrote:I am also on MV as "Oldscoot".Syd wrote:I haven't gotten IM's here and you (and Krispy) are the only posters, but it's been most of the day now.
I wonder what Krispy said to get a time out?

To reference MV'ers in an unflattering light, which is disallowed according to Posting Guidelines (a recommended read).
His outburst was likely caused by this:

Because he had earned this a few times:
