Scooter Saturday

Post by FreeDivr »

My wife and I are super excited! We were contacted by our local dealership today and her Buddy 125 anniversary edition has arrived. My new RoughHouse has been patiently waiting at the shop for it's friend to arrive :)

We will pick up our first scooters on Saturday and start a new adventure in life. Thank you to everyone who answered questions for me while I browsed the site for the last month. Pictures from Saturdays maiden voyage will follow.

That is exciting. Congratulations. Scooters are so much fun. I don't understand why more people don't ride them, though I admit that it's taken me nearly a year to feel truly comfortable. I wonder how "off road" the Roughhouse can handle. Looking forward to the pics.

I'm in Fairfield enjoying my 170i bought at the Vacaville dealer too.
Let me know if you'd like to ride sometime.

I have a favorite that loops out to Solano Lake and back through Wooden Valley. The ride to Napa on back roads is a blast as well.
There's a meeting in Napa for the Napa Valley Scooter Club on tuesday evening. Look them up on the web and/or Facebook for more info. I'm attending and riding the back route. It will probably be dark on the return trip. I usually don't ride in the dark, but I'll probably make an exception.
Do you have riding experience?

Sounds great! Yes, I had a Harley for many years, gave it up when we had kids, looking forward to my new "ride". Is that meeting once a month?
