Where can I buy a C7RHSA spark plug for my Buddy 170i?

Try searching for a C7HSA (without the "R"). I think you'll get a lot more hits. This is the plug specified for the Blur and Buddy engines.

You're right, not the same plug, but they are interchangeable. The only difference being the CR7HSA has an internal 5k resistor built-in for noise suppression. I use the C7HSA (non-resistor) version in my Blur with no issues, though I don't have an ECU to contend with which may or may not be affected by ignition noise. ECU's are usually pretty well shielded, so it may not be an issue. I do know that when I'm listening to an AM radio (very sensitive to ignition noise) while riding, I don't get very much, if any, ignition static through the earphones. But then, I think my ignition wire or cap may be the resistor type. Either way, probably safer to use the CR7HSA in the 170i since it costs the same and just as easily available.

Bottom line is, if the OP was looking for a C7RHSA instead of a CR7HSA, that's the reason he/she couldn't find it.

Nothing is wrong with mail order. I got the plug 2 days later in brand new condition.

Scooterworks, Partsforscooters, and many, many other online retailers sell this plug. It's the same plug most of the QMB139/GY6 chinese scooters use, so a pretty common plug

My scooter has only 2,637 miles on it. They original spark plug was working fine. There was no rush to change it. My tires are still fine, but I mail ordered a new tire months ago which is sitting in my living room.

I buy crazy things online almost daily so, I get it.

I just never considered spark plugs. I guess it makes sense if you are in no hurry.

Why does something seem so foreign to people these days? Go out, go to a real store! We're not agoraphobic or we wouldn't be riding our scooters so they wouldn't need parts.
I get mine from my shop, I call him to see if he has one, I go and pick it up.
I waited half the summer for a part for my scooter, he was having difficulties getting it from his supplier. Sure, I could have gotten it else wise, but my phone calls back and forth to him and other visits to his shop if I happened to be passing by were worth the wait. And he did the instal for me!

I just bought a used 2013 Buddy 50 with 373 miles on it from a private party for $900. Went thru the manual and picked up a JFK plug at Advanced Auto Parts for $2.49 plus 7.5% tax. Wal-Mart and all the auto parts stores sell the 85-140 gear oil cheap. The SAE 140 gear oil is harder to come by from my limited search around town. Internet has plenty of 140 SAE for sale. The two cycle synthetic and conventional oil is very reasonable at wallyworld. It's nice to join this group of enthusiasts!

Definitely on the plug. Straight grade 140 gear oil does not exist, so I bought Valvoline 85w-140 at Auto Zone $6.99 a quart. Buy a 100cc plastic syringe to put the new stuff in. Gardening stores sell them for liquid plant nutrients.
