Earlier on in this thread, I had mentioned that the guys at the Scooter Revolution shop might not have been the best.
I was wrong. I heard a rumor (from the competing shop in town, and went to debunk it today. I found out that one dissatisfied customer has a very big mouth. So for all of you Austinites or others in TX, do not think of them in a negative light.
I went and spoke with Grady the owner; he is one cool cat. He actually let me ride a couple of the scooters they had in the shop.

One of them was their shop toy, a souped-up 180cc that growled like a Harley. The acceleration on that thing was amazing:D
The other was the Lance Vintage 150. I was not impressed. The handlebars are at an angle so that it is hard to find a comfortable position to throttle. Also you feel really low to the ground when you sit on it, not as visible as the Buddy. Also, not as much "oomph" as the Buddy when it came to throttling. Granted this scooter only had 12 miles on it but I was expecting more.
Hold out for a buddy!!
