I was wondering if it might be possible to pull a small trailer behind my scooter for pizza delivery and other cargo hauling. Does anybody know of a small trailer that could be modified to attach to a scoot, or would I need to fabricate one? I am looking for an enclosed one to prevent cooling of the food, etc.
If fabrication was necessary, what type of material do you think would work best? I was thinking about fiberglass, but am open to suggestions.

I've seen some people get ahold of very nice but very rare vintage ones...
And I've seen some people make their own, say, out of the rear end of a vintage Vespa, or completely from scratch.
I haven't seen many scoots with trailers. My guess is because it's hard to find a small enough one that can be handled easily enough with the bike. Sure, there's other types of trailers besides the one-wheeled versions, but I've never seen a scoot with one (with the exception of maybe a Silverwing or Burgman).
Regardless of what type of trailer you find or make, you'll definately have to fabricate your own mounting brackets. There's no standard for bikes. And as far as materials, I think I've seen most homemade ones out of fiberglass. If you do find or make a trailer, please post pictures!

I think you would be better off mounting a rear rack and then making your own box that you can then bolt onto the rack. If you are delivering pizza, most likely you are by yourself, so you can mount the box so part of it is on the passenger seat, that way it would not stick that far rearward.
You can make the box out of fiberglass, plexiglass, etc and add some clsoed cell foam for insulation.
A trailer ready made is expensive. To make your own, much harder than it looks, plus yout DOT might have to certify it to make it road legal.
Or even better, just google TGB DELIVERY SCOOTER. It is a ready made solution for you. They had a 50cc and 150cc models. Maybe you can convince your pizza shop to help with the expenses if you paint the box with their logos ? Nobody pays attention to the car top flags, etc, but you on your scoot WOULD get noticed !

the 151cc one would be sweet. i bet if you just bought one and used it for a roadtrip or something. alot of storage space....keep your clothes nice and warm. hehehe
