is my understanding that a "racing" oil filter basically would just be more free flowing???

Especially if they spell it "ferarri," like the sweet folding aviator shades I had in junior high school.jfrost2 wrote:ferrari branded products really arent worth the 3x price tag.

I had one of those handed down to me due to overheating issues. I did the unthinkable on that little guy... *evil laugh*jfrost2 wrote:My laptop has better hardware than the ferrari laptop, cost 4x less.
A bit off topic, but just saying, sometimes two different brands cost totally different prices, but they work the same in the end.

Personally, the kevlar belt might be a good deal just because you shouldn't need to replace it as often as the stock belt... the "racing" oil filter however... I would stay away from. There's a reason they flow more, the holes for junk to get through are larger, that means potentially more crap going into the engine.
Oil is for cooling and lubricating, unless you're overheating, there's no need for one. Save a few bucks and just get the standard filter. Let me know how you like the kevlar belt though

I don't do much modding on the scoot anymore, just riding

Bummer. Tough weekend for flats, Keys at the beginning, you at the end. Did someone have a spare? Or did you need to put it in the support truck?lou76 wrote::]Syd wrote:What's the matter Lou76? i had a can of fix-a-flat, which i had almost thrown away i dont know how many times... worked like a charm... rode home, and then rode another 80 miles that night to and from a wedding...Syd wrote:Bummer.
