Since I wanted to miss all the major highways I took the back way. Roaming through the country side... hill after hill.. turn after turn.. My biggest fear was the mountian near my apartment. Lots of sharp curves getting there and lots going down. Benny did really well, I didnt hold up traffic and he took the turns well.
After the mountain there were a lot of small towns. Stupid me, I forgot my camera and wished the whole time I had it.
I was making great time until the wind! It was horrible and exhausting. I still didnt hold up traffic but I ended up having to pull over acouple times just to rest. I did figure out how to avoid the blast of air from the semi trucks. When they were driving towards me and I could feel the air stream sucking me towards them I would just let off the gas. When they would pass I never felt the blast..
After stopping at the golden arches for some breakfast and making friends with the locals (they loved Benny) I made it to the dealership. I got there around 8:30am.
They opened at 9, got me right in and it only took about 20mins. $49.95

My other purpose on going there was to put a deposit down on a St. Tropez. I told the dealer that we expected to pay it off by August. He asked me if I wanted to wait because thats when the 09's came out. Is that true? I thought they came out in Feb.. Either way my bf decided to wait

The ride how was pretty much the same, wind, rest, wind, rest and then finally home! Other than my rear end feeling numb some of the time and being a tiny bit cold it was great. I was super proud of myself for doing it
