clutch weights
I'm thinking of changing my clutch weights and was hoping to gather some info from those that have done it already. I want to put lighter ones in. I'm debating between 4s or 6s. I guess I would like to know how much quicker is the take off and how much longer does it take to hit top speed. Thanks

Honestly, nobody really knows. Someone here posted that the stock one's one theirs were 9g.
I don't know if anyone who's changed weights in their variator has only changed weights to see the results. It's almost always done with other part changes. So, it's impossible to get a real gauge for what weights, on their own, might make a difference because those other part changes have a greater effect than the weight changes. In addition, your body weight will make a difference.
Mine were changed to 12g, which came with the Malossi MultiVar2000 along with it's 2000 rpm contra spring. I've seen a terrific increase in acceleration throughout the cycle, with a slight loss in top-end. But I also changed clutch springs, air filter and the exhaust.
