How do you keep your scooter clean?

I use the hose a sponge a bucket and the same soap I would use to clean the XB. The black and silver 125 buddy looks as good as new every time.

Same bike same process... And a microfiber drying cloth.

I use the following products:

And for my tires and other black surfaces I use http://www.meguiars.com/?tire-care/Gold ... High-Gloss This stuff stays looking good for weeks, even after it gets wet.

i use the exact same stuff! works GREAT!

anyway, ever since i installed my prima pipe, the discoloration is really bothering me, i know its normal for it to discolor but i've been so tempted to scrub it with cameo, a stainless steel cleaner, but im so afraid that it will leave little fine scratches all over the pipe, or it won't work, has anybody tried this before?

Nevr-dull. It works best when used to clean up surface rust. When the rust gets too deep, it's in the metal and a more aggressive cleaner and sealer is needed.

i've used turtle wax brand chrome polish, i believe that's what its called, works well on my mirrors

we have to wash these things too? and i just had the oil changed. all this maintenance is getting out of control.

i use this pink liquid bicycle cleaner bottle (sorry can't remember the brand name) to clean the buddy. it's pretty gentle and can clean up any grease/grime as well. i just squirt it on a rag and clean the buddy that way.

i don't have a good idea of how to clean the engine/brakes/shock areas though... some of those places are difficult to reach.

Never use ammonia-based cleaners on plastic. Ammonia and plastic are a bad mix, the ammonia will discolor or destroy plastic if given a chance.

Bleach is another no-no. Most of the other kinds of cleaners should be fine.

I never do anything more than wipe it down with a dry cloth when it gets wet and it looks great. It's only 2 years old, but I don't see anything special happening in this area.
