And actually, don't the insurance companies require your DL#? I know they asked it of me when I bought insurance for my buddy.

Temp license number works too, because the same number will be used for your full motorcycle license or endorsement.

If you have a drivers license, you will give the insurance your DL number because it acts as your motorcycle temps, and when you get endorsed, you get a new card that just shows an M on it, but shows the same number.

Texas doesn't offer a Temporary Motorcycle License.
