Got an e-mail response from my local Genuine dealer (Route 66):


"And YES, when will we get them in California!?!?! Whereas, they have already passed the stringent requirements for California, there is something The California Air Resource Board (C.A.R.B.) needs to sign before they can be shipped into this state for sale... its called an Executive Order... As of this time CARB has not signed the EO... It's all part of our new more bureaucratic government... when will they sign it? Tomorrow or 6 months from tomorrow... your guess is as good as mine... very frustrating, but true... If you would like I can put your email address on our mail list to keep you updated on this".
