Racking up the miles on my Stella

Post by Howardr »

When I first considered getting a 2-stroke I was intimidated by my perception of how much work they were to maintain. It also seemed like there was a question of reliability. I am happy to say that Stella and I turned over 10,000 miles today on my way to work. What a great bike. I think I got a better one than average, but I just love this thing.

Thanks Genuine

Yes, That's what we like to hear. I bought my 03 last June, it has been an excellent ride. My friend back in Jersey, has a Stella 03 she bought some four years ago, that's what got me hooked. I learned to do the maintenance and repairs myself. Even body and paint work becomes a labor of love. It's very much like Genuine's advertising for the Stella; it becomes a love affair. "I love my Stella". Food for thought ...

You did 10,000 on a stock bike? I could not do it.

Huzzah! Congrats.

I'm getting close to 2500 on mine. Riding as much as I can!

Congrats!

When I get to 10000 miles ridden on Stella instead of driven in my Honda Element (20mpg), it will have almost paid for itself in gas savings alone.
