Cat Fur

Post by pcbikedude »

I was wondering how cat fur got on my Buddy cover and on my seat. This is what I saw this morning.

So your cat wants to scoot! You should get her a teeny little helmet and take her along.

In this area there used to be a guy who took his cat on his motorcycle. She was named Motorcat and he had a helmet made especially for her. IIRC, she used to sit on his shoulder while he rode. I'll see if I can come up with pix -- they were both famous.

ETA: Okay, here's a link to the Washington Post obituary for Motorcat, which includes a pic. And here's a link to another pic.

And here's a tribute page for Motorcat, which includes several news stories, including a WashPost article about Motorcat's brief disappearance.

She even made the pages of National Geographic.

P.S. I'm typing this with my four-month-old kitten, Molly, on my lap. She keeps pushing my keyboard shelf away and biting my fingers.

I like the goggles protecting the cats eyes.

Cat fur

There may be more to the story. My cats like to sit on my scooter seat, my motorcycle seat and (special favorite) the seat of my sidecar when they are parked. The problem is that they enjoy it so much that they do the little "happy feet" trick of flexing their claws. I eventually had to reupholster the hack seat. Now, all my rigs have pieces of carpet over the seats when in the garage.
