Wondering if anyone has replaced the throttle tube on a buddy and how easy it is. Recently got my wife 2006 orange buddy with the tan trim. I'm personally not a fan of this tan color so painted the tan bits black, new black seat and bought some black blur grips.
Well turns out the blur right grip has a throttle tube and it's not as simple as just sliding the new grip over the plastic throttle tube on the buddy. Has anyone put a new throttle tube on and how much of a PITA is it?

It would be much easier to buy some black grips that would fit than replace the tube.
