Value of my Blackjack scooter?

Post by Scotty Blackjack »

Hi all!

Advice time:

What would you say I could sell my 2009 Buddy Blackjack 150 for? I know they retain great value, and all I'm looking for is a fair shake.

It has about 5200 miles on it, give or take 100 in either direction. It's in good, but not excellent condition. Never laid it down, been stored in a shed.

Would $2000-$2200 make it go?

I think you're right in the ballpark at $2,000 to $2,200, maybe even a little low. Looking on Craigslist for Chicago, I see a Blackjack listed at $2,100 (maybe it's yours?) and several other Buddy's ranging from $2,000 to $3,400. That's your competition, so that's where you want to price it.

I bought my Blackjack for 2500 with the following:

-2200 miles
-Giva back case
-Chrome front rack
-Chrome cowl
-Prima pipe edition (not all come with Prima)
-2 new helmets
-never laid down and all maint. records

Person was asking 3000..

My friend just bought a BlackJack with the following for 3000

-200 miles (yup, that's not a type)
-Chrome front rack
-Giva rear case
-regular pipe (not Prima)
-1 used helmet

I believe he could have got a better deal but, is new and didn't mind the $. I have seen them around the 2500 - 3200 ball park out here in Southern CA. I also know these are limited editions and as such I plan on keeping mine even when engine is shot because there is no other scoot that looks as hot as the Black Jacks!

Sorry you're looking to sell
