Stella Electric Starter thang...

Ok I got my Stella this last fall. It's a 2011. When they delivered it, everything worked fine, but a month or so later the electric starter wouldn't fire. No biggie, I enjoyed kick starting it. But lately I've become indignant and have wanted to fix the issue. I bought a battery tender, and made sure the battery was all the way charged up. Still won't start. It gives me that "Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" sound when I try to use the electric starter. Like I got a question wrong on a game show!

So my question is, could it be the whole battery just needs replacing at this point? I mean, I basically bought a 2 year old bike. I assume it's possible the battery was in bad shape.

Dead battery is definitely a possibility. If it was low enough to not start, and then left uncharged for a few months, a resurrection may not be possible. I think most auto parts places can check it for you to make a final determination.

I noticed in the "New Stella 4T Manual Downloads" thread there is a copy of what is covered under warranty on your scooter. I don't get the impression that Stella can have too much confinence in the battery they use if they cover it for 1 month only!
I have had the same experience on my PX, when the battery goes low and even after fully recharging, the starter just buzzes (new battery always fixed the problem). I have had no luck in "bringing them back" as some of the battery tenders claim. Others experiences?

make sure that your cables are tight to the battery posts.. I'll suggest that you put lockwashers there too... And if you had a steady green light on the tender... then it should be good to go... check the water levels too....
