VIN Search available??

Hi Guys,
I am talking to a guy about buying a Stella, and I was wondering if you can do a VIN check on a scooter the same way you can do one with a car, like CARFAX.

Currently there is no database for bikes so it is a full, buyer beware deal.

Carfax is primarily to track accident repairs for vehicles, it's not very robust for repair history. That being said it is more often than not if I scooter/bike is in an accident where a repair might be tracked through insurance for repairs it is usually just totaled. So not sure if the carfax model would work well.

Thanks guys.,... it sold before I could even see it.

Looked like a case of "title jumping", where Original Owner sells it to friend Second Owner, signs the title but SO never signs it or titles it himself, while driving the scoot with his friends plates.

Still on the lookout for a mostly original Vespa P150/P200/PX150
