washington state freebee!

Post by scullyfu »

since a number of us don't ride freeway legal scooters, or those who do just like to ride slower roads, i thought i'd post this FREE offer. i wonder if other states are doing this sort of thing?

here's the article to read about this interactive cd:

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/l ... on25e.html

along with info about where to pick it up or download it online. i picked mine up last week and it's cool, lots of info and pix. you can even download the info to your gps and do geocaching!

i'm thinking this may be a great tool for us scooter riders who can't go on the freeways, but still want to go see some sites around the state.

just a hint: after you load the cd, go to the gear console at the bottom of the page to start looking around; the audio is activated on the upper right. :)

Does anybody know if California has anything similar? Even a backroads guidebook?

Thanks, scullyfu! Pacific Northwest history is one of my big hobbies. I love scooting Texas, but seeing this guidebook sure makes me homesick!

Thanks for the info Scullyfu. I'll definitely be picking one of the CD's up. Love photography and old public buildings.
