Has anybody removed the stella badge on the front of the bike? how is it affixed? just with glue like most logos I would imagine but I'm hesitant to pry it off and damage the paint.
I'm a designer and I want to create a personalized icon and have it 3D printed, which is somewhat beside the point if I can't manage to remove the stella icon cleanly.
any info would be good
cheers

Re: removing the stella badge
I recall reading that you can simply run some dental floss around it and it will work the glue off, but I'll let someone else confirm this.Tack One. wrote:Has anybody removed the stella badge on the front of the bike? how is it affixed? just with glue like most logos I would imagine but I'm hesitant to pry it off and damage the paint.

ah cool, that's good to know. thanks!
as far as the emblem goes, you can create artwork in a vector or CAD program and 3D printers can output a little plastic shape I then plan on glueing on.
gotta find a reasonably low cost 3D printing outfit, but I don't expect it to cost more than 30 dollars or so.
If I ever get it off the ground I'll post a photo for sure.

If and when you find one, please let us know! I'd love to do something similar!Tack One. wrote:ah cool, that's good to know. thanks!
